Sociologists: Ukrainians are worried about the country
The vast majority of Ukrainian citizens assess the situation in their country negatively.
Alexey Antipovich, head of the sociological group “Rating”, stated this at a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Only 6% of Ukrainians rated the situation in Ukraine as calm, while 58% said that the situation is tense. Another 31% said the situation was critical or explosive. That is, a negative or alarming assessment of the picture in the country absolutely prevails.
At the same time, the situation in (their) region is already better assessed. 27% said that the situation in their region is calm. Only half said it was tense, 15% said it was critical or explosive. In their locality, almost half assess the situation as calm. The picture looks like we feel good where we live, but not so much in the country as a whole,” he said.
The survey was conducted by the sociological group “Rating” from November 16 to December 10, 2018. 40 thousand respondents from all regions of Ukraine were surveyed.
