Sociologists have found out what Russians think about what is happening in Ukraine
About 67% of Russians follow political events in Ukraine, while 20% monitor the situation very closely, and 47% are interested in news from their neighbors from time to time.

These are the data of a sociological survey conducted by the All-Russian Center for the Study of Public Opinion (VTsIOM).
The majority of respondents (32%) believe that anarchy, lawlessness and banditry reign in Ukraine, 20% believe that there is a civil war going on there, 8% believe that their neighbors have experienced complete destabilization and collapse of the country.
41% of respondents believe that recently the situation in Ukraine has noticeably worsened, almost the same number (40%) think that the situation is not changing, 7% saw signs of normalization.
The majority of respondents (37%) believe that relations between Russia and Ukraine are now tense, 26% called them hostile, 14% - cool, 11% - neutral.
45% believe that Russia should build relations with Ukraine in the same way as with other countries: avoid conflicts, but also not make concessions. 29% believe that Russia should strive for friendly forces to come to power in Ukraine, and 12% see an opportunity to build friendly relations with the current leadership.
