This is evidenced by the results of a study conducted by R&B (Research & Branding Group), reports Interfax-Ukraine.
According to the survey, between 40% and 42% of Ukrainians would likely take advantage of a visa-free regime with the EU if it were introduced. 45% of respondents believe that they most likely would not use it, and 13% of respondents found it difficult to answer.
Social research shows that over the past seven months, the level of readiness among Ukrainians to take advantage of the visa-free regime with the EU remains stable if it is introduced.
Thus, in February 2016, 41% of respondents would most likely take advantage of the visa-free regime with the EU, 50% would not take advantage, and 9% found it difficult to answer this question. In December 2015, these figures were 40%, 48% and 12%, respectively.
The survey was conducted July 10-21, 2016. Information was collected using the method of personal interviews in all regions of Ukraine (with the exception of the uncontrolled territories of Donetsk and Lugansk regions, as well as the Autonomous Republic of Crimea). Respondents were selected from a sample that represented the adult population of the country by place of residence (region), gender and age. During the study, 1795 people were interviewed. The sampling error is ±2,4% at a confidence level of P=0,95.
