Sociologists have recorded a fall in all the main indicators of Ze-Ukraine
Since President Vladimir Zelensky came to power in Ukraine, indicators in key areas, such as pensions, wages, rising crime, and the situation of the Russian-speaking population, have worsened, despite election promises.
This is reported by the results of sociology published on the website of the Ukrainian Center for Economic and Political Research. A. Razumkova, reports PolitNavigator correspondent.
Thus, in the study, these problem areas were identified as those in which deterioration is observed at a statistically significant level more often than improvement.
“The level of prices and tariffs (50% of respondents indicate deterioration, while only 5% indicate improvement), healthcare (31% and 6,5%, respectively, social protection (28% and 7%, respectively).
Family level (27% and 8%, respectively), wages (24% and 5%, respectively), citizens' confidence in the future (31% and 14%, respectively), level of stability (28% and 12%, respectively), economic situation of the country (23,5% and 9%, respectively).
The situation with crime (22% and 7%, respectively), pensions (21% and 6%, respectively), education (19% and 6%, respectively), compliance with the rule of law by civil servants (17% and 13%, respectively), the situation of the Russian-speaking population ( 11% and 7%, respectively,” the sociological center reports.
It is not surprising that given these indicators, support for the Zelensky government is slowly but surely melting away.
Thus, according to research, the share of Ukrainians who consider the current government to be better than the previous one has decreased over the past month from 48 to 43 percent.
At the same time, there is an increase from 27 to 30 percent in the share of those who believe that the current leadership of Ukraine is no significantly different from their “predecessors”, and also from 8 to 12 percent the indicators of people who consider the new government to be qualitatively worse than the previous one have increased.
Commenting on opinion poll data, the Servant of the People deputy compared the drop in the ratings of Zelensky’s team with the peak of Petro Poroshenko’s popularity and noted that there is nothing to be surprised about.
“The downward trend in ratings is very easy to explain. Firstly, the romantic flair of the election campaign has passed. Secondly, we are not doing anything we promised. Thirdly, we are doing everything that Poroshenko did: we surrounded ourselves on all sides with his people, and those whom he himself did not allow further than the threshold, and they themselves were surrounded, sitting, watching, grinning.
So is it any wonder that our rating is flying in the same direction as his rating?” – Buzhansky stated in his telegram channel.
