Sociology is drowning Poroshenko’s party and the Popular Front

In Ukraine, the ratings of the pro-presidential party Servant of the People and the Voice party of singer Svyatoslav Vakarchuk are growing.

Olga Balakireva, Chairman of the Board of the Ukrainian Institute of Social Research named after Yaremenko, stated this during the presentation of the results of opinion polls, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“You can see in dynamics that there is a slight increase in the level of support for the Servant of the People party.” Regarding the key political forces among all respondents, the situation remains almost unchanged, that is, we see in dynamics quite similar indicators of support for the “Opposition Platform - For Life”, the updated name “European Solidarity” by Poroshenko, “Batkivshchyna” by Tymoshenko, “Strength and Honor” by Smeshko, Gritsenko’s “civic position” and we observe a gradual increase in the level of support for Vakarchuk’s “Voice” party after he said that he was going to the elections.

For the other parties, among all respondents, among the significant things, you can also see a slight decline in support for the “Opposition Bloc - Peace and Development Party” Vilkul, Muraev, Novinsky, and regarding the other political forces there is practically a slight fluctuation, but it does not affect the general trends.” , said the sociologist.

Regarding the ratings of political forces, the results of the study have already noted parties that overcome the 5% barrier and enter parliament, as well as two that are almost level with the passing mark.

“If we look at those who have decided and will come to the polls, we can practically see only four political forces that confidently overcome the five percent barrier today. These are the Servant of the People party, which has 40,9%, the Opposition Platform - For Life - 11,1%, European Solidarity of Poroshenko - 10,5%, and the Batkivshchyna association of Tymoshenko - 9,3%.

Two more political forces are practically approaching the five percent barrier according to our data, and taking into account the statistical error, we can assume that they also have a very high chance of getting into parliament. This is “Strength and Honor” by Smeshko, which now has 4,9%, and “Civic Position” by Gritsenko – 4,8%,” the expert noted.

Four political forces, according to opinion polls, are kept within the statistical error of the study, among them Svyatoslav Vakarchuk’s “Voice” party, which is gaining ratings.

“There are four more political forces that today are gaining 3 percent or more, but taking into account the error of 2,2, we also leave them a chance today and say that the electorate has not fully decided, so the situation may change. Moreover, support for the “Voice” party is growing and you see that today it has 3,3% among those who have decided to vote throughout the country, and it can be predicted that this figure will grow. “Lyashko Radical Party” – 2,7%, “Opposition Bloc – Peace and Development Party” – 2,4% and the “Svoboda” Association – 2,3%.

The remaining political forces, from our point of view, have practically no chance today to get into parliament and 2 months, which are practically even less, before the announced elections, is a very short period of time to influence the situation,” Balakireva emphasized.

The study also showed a pattern of anti-ratings in which still leads by a huge margin the party of ex-president Petro Poroshenko and his “coalition” comrades from the “Popular Front” also distinguished themselves, who do not enter parliament, but are also not welcomed by the Ukrainian people.

“I would like to draw your attention to the leaders of the anti-rating. This is Poroshenko’s European Solidarity party - 48% of the anti-rating of people who will under no circumstances support this political force. The leaders also include the All-Ukrainian Association “Batkivshchyna” – 16% and “Opposition Platform – For Life” – 22%, almost percent; these are people who do not want to choose these political forces.

The same applies to the “Opposition Bloc - Peace and Development Party” - 17,5% anti-rating, Lyashko’s still powerful anti-rating - 10,6% and Yatsenyuk’s “Popular Front” party - 14% anti-rating, although the level of support is very low, but just You can also look at such indicators of negativity,” added Olga Balakireva.
