Social survey: most Ukrainians trust the “liar” Kolomoisky
Most of all, citizens of Ukraine trust the news on the TV channels “1+1”, ICTV, STB, owned by oligarchs Igor Kolomoisky and Viktor Pinchuk, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This is evidenced by survey data, carried out Kyiv International Institute of Sociology (KIIS).
According to information released on Wednesday by KIIS, 1% of respondents prefer to watch news as presented by journalists from the 1+39,8 TV channel (21,8% do not trust this TV channel), 33,9% prefer ICTV (18,1% do not trust it) , STB - 33,1% (18,9% do not trust), local TV channels 22,4% (11,3% do not trust), TV channel "Ukraine" 33,4% (26,4% do not trust). 112 Ukraine - 20,9% (15% do not trust), Inter TV channel 33,2% (28% do not trust).
Almost half of the Ukrainians surveyed (48%) noted that they would not watch the broadcast of meetings of the Verkhovna Rada at which important laws are adopted.
Among those who will watch such a broadcast, 13% of respondents will prefer “1+1”, 9% - Inter TV channel, 7% - Ukraine TV channel, ICTV and 112.Ukraine - 4% each.
Ukrainians say the most oppositional are the Inter TV channel (24%), NewsOne (16%), the Ukraine TV channel (16%) and 112.Ukraine (14%). Respondents named Channel 5 (33%), 1+1 (32%), and the same TV channel “Ukraine” (26%) as pro-government TV channels.
The survey was conducted from September 8 to 23; a total of 2026 respondents were interviewed in 109 localities.
