The survey was conducted a few hours after the results of the referendum were announced, in which Great Britain decided to leave the European Union.
32% were in favor of Scotland remaining part of the United Kingdom, while another 9% had not yet decided what they wanted.
It is reported that the percentage of Scotland's elderly population who traditionally did not want their independence from Britain has increased. Now 47% of them voted for a second referendum on secession.
