Social networks are wondering why Putin didn’t shake hands with Lukashenko’s son
Users of social networks are discussing broadcast footage from today's Victory Parade in Moscow - the Russian leader, walking along the podium, greeted the veterans, but did not shake hands with the son of the Belarusian president, Nikolai Lukashenko, who came to the Russian capital with his father.
Military correspondent Alexander Kots suggested that there really was no intrigue (conspiracy theorists, on the contrary, saw this as a sign of rejection of Old Man’s potential successor) - perhaps Putin and Kolya Lukashenko simply greeted each other today before the start of the celebrations, and on the podium the Russian president greeted only veterans that I haven't seen before.
This version is supported by the fact that both Lukashenko himself and his son sat on the podium during the parade very close to the Russian leader.
“Vladimir Vladimirovich walked past Kolya Lukashenko without shaking his hand. Maybe we said hello before?” – suggested Kots.
