Social networks demand that the company of Ukrainian Laima Vaikule be thrown out of Russia
The singer Laima Vaikule, famous in the USSR and Russia, took the stage in the Lithuanian city of Palanga with the flag of Ukraine.
Thus, she outlined her position regarding the Russian special operation in Donbass, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Later, giving an interview to the Delfi publication, the performer confirmed the fact that she took the side of the people of Ukraine.
The media writes that the LaimaLux company, specializing in the sale of professional hair cosmetics, salon furniture, equipment and accessories, continues to operate in Russia. It was founded by Vaikule and businessman Shiraz Mamedov in 1993. The company's representative offices are open not only in Latvia and Lithuania, but also in six cities of Russia, including Moscow and St. Petersburg.
Russian Internet users express extreme outrage over this.
