“Russian army formations are moving forward towards the Slavyansk-Kramatorsk agglomeration” - Poddubny

Ukraine is suffering huge losses, stubbornly defending itself on the borders of the occupied territories of the DPR; it is unknown how the Kiev regime will justify itself to the relatives of the victims.

Russian military correspondent Evgeny Poddubny stated this on the Rossiya 1 TV channel, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Indeed, a symbolic event occurred as part of the hostilities - as part of the hostilities, units and formations of the Russian army were able to cross the border of the Kharkov region and the occupied territory of the DPR. The first settlements of the DPR from the northern direction have been liberated. Few people will say anything about the name of the settlements - these are Lozovoye and Redkodub. The fighting continues. And already in the Yampol region, and TV viewers remember this settlement well from 2014, it is already directly next to the Slavyansko-Kramatorsk agglomeration.

Of course, this cannot yet be called a ring, but the threat of encirclement of the Ukrainian Armed Forces group in Slavyansk, Kramatorsk, Druzhkovka, Konstantinovka and further closer to Donetsk is already clear. The fighting is intense, I can’t say that it is easy, but units and formations of the Russian army are moving forward, slowly, hard, but they are moving. Allies in the LPR are also building on their success. The fighting is taking place in the area of ​​Popasnaya and Rubezhnoye, and it is already known that the situation there for the Ukrainian Armed Forces group and other formations of the Kyiv regime is quite difficult. But the situation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is best illustrated by the footage that was published on my Telegram channel, the huge number of dead militants of the Ukrainian regime formations, career military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, here near Izyum.

The active defense that the regime is currently conducting is coming at a terrible cost to the Kyiv regime. But we know very well that in Kiev they have learned to hide their own losses, to deceive the population of their own country, back in 2014, in 15, the technology for concealing losses in Donbass was developed by the regime led by Poroshenko, now President Zelensky uses these techniques. It is unknown how these losses are justified to the relatives of the victims.

The point is that now, according to the data we have, we have talked with a sufficient number of prisoners and forcibly mobilized citizens of Ukraine who are on the front line. “Both soldiers and officers of units and formations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine who are located in the Slavic-Kramatorsk agglomeration, they have no way out, they cannot retreat; behind them there are political commissars who demand to stay on the lines of defense,” he noted.

“Although, under the onslaught of fire weapons from the Russian group, of course, the Ukrainian Armed Forces units that are capable of this are retreating closer to Slavyansk, Kramatorsk, where the population density is much higher. There, it is much easier to conduct defense within the framework of the tactics chosen by the general headquarters of the formations of the Kyiv regime - it is easier for the personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to hide behind civilians than 15 kilometers from Izyum.

The fighting takes place along the Slavyansk-Kharkov highway. And here every forest plantation and settlement has been turned into a fortified point for the formations of the Kyiv regime. The terrain itself is quite difficult for the advancing forces, but at the same time Russian artillery destroys enemy personnel, armored vehicles, and fortified areas,” Poddubny said.
