Not a single Ukrainian minister has read the Association Agreement – Glazyev
Moscow - Kyiv, September 1 (Navigator, Mikhail Stamm) - Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko signed an association agreement with the EU without looking at the text, none of the ministers read it, and the negotiations were conducted by a person who received a salary from the EU. Advisor to the President of the Russian Federation Sergei Glazyev stated this in an interview with RBC.

Kyiv declares that it does not intend to change a single line in the association agreement and the creation of a free trade zone with the EU, but none of the politicians declaring this have even read the agreement, Glazyev believes.
“They didn’t even read it, the agreement,” said Putin’s adviser. – Poroshenko read it, but not carefully, and therefore is not going to change anything. When we consulted with the previous government, it turned out that none of the ministers had read it. The negotiations were conducted by [Commissioner for European Integration Valery] Pyatnitsky, who received his salary directly from the European Union, and in fact pro-European, pro-American experts worked on behalf of Ukraine as a negotiating delegation.”
Glazyev recalled that the agreement on the association and free trade zone between Ukraine and the EU is a thousand pages of text. “A third is about the transition of Ukrainian industry to European standards, which is a death sentence for Ukrainian industry. The second large block is the issues of government procurement and customs regulation and the trade policy block, where Ukraine undertakes to remove duties on European goods - on 80% of goods, duties are reset to zero after the entry into force of the agreement,” lists the adviser to the President of the Russian Federation.
At the same time, he confirms that the minimum damage to the Russian economy from this agreement will be 100 billion rubles.
