The agreement with the British puts an end to the borders of 1991 - Karasev
The security agreement signed between Ukraine and Great Britain is a document that does not provide for the offensive of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Political scientist Vadim Karasev stated this on air on the Politeka Internet channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Karasev, the agreement presupposes defense, which means that there is no talk of restoring the territorial integrity of Ukraine.
“This is not given for war, it is a security agreement. It doesn’t matter – guarantees, representations, obligations. Or, as they say: “There are no guarantees there.” No, the problem is not whether there are reliable guarantees or not. The problem is that this is given for security, not for war. For defensive capabilities rather than offensive capabilities.
“Forget about the borders of 91,” they want to say, “we are giving you weapons, the States, the British and the French in exchange for the fact that you will defend the borders, and not go to retake the border. Exchange of weapons for the frontiers, and not for the offensive,” Karasev said.
