Soldiers and officers of the Ukrainian army became hostages. On the one hand, they are hostages of the criminal policy of the Kyiv authorities, which led the country to civil war, on the other hand, they are hostages of their own inability to answer for themselves.

The fate of a person mobilized into the Ukrainian army cannot be envied now.

Let's start with the fact that the logistics service of the Armed Forces is not coping with its tasks - the soldiers still have nothing to dress and put on, nothing to feed them. Just look at the Ukrainian soldiers captured by the army of Novorossiya or those who fled to Russia. They are dressed in whatever way they like.

Now those mobilized themselves are forced to run to military stores, buy clothes and ammunition, and get a helmet and body armor from somewhere. And it’s good if there is a workforce that will help, but what if we are talking about residents of villages and small towns, with their unemployment and poverty?

And then - war. They kill in war. Moreover, it is not only the soldiers of the Ukrainian army who are killed, but them too.

Now, I think, no one believes in Klitschko’s words that the life of every Ukrainian soldier will be insured. Now there is not even a guarantee that the killed soldier will be buried at all. After the first incidents, when zinc coffins were sent to the cities of Ukraine, the military authorities vowed to send them in large numbers. And if it works out, the dead are buried right there – on the spot. Fortunately, it was not possible to remove not only the dead, but also the living people from the same southern cauldron.

Here the Kherson grant-eater Dementiy Bely writes - Russian agents, they say, are spreading rumors about large losses of the Ukrainian army, which demoralizes people, we must fight this by spreading the whole truth about real losses. And it doesn’t occur to him that spreading the truth -

means to demoralize people even more.

The problem is not even the number of soldiers killed, but the fact that people do not understand why soldiers should die. Ukraine boasted of maintaining civil peace for 23 years and then suddenly plunged into civil war...

What if you are injured? Again, no one expects any compensation to follow. Everyone knows that the documents of the wounded soldiers say that the injuries were sustained in all ATO zones and were of a domestic nature. I was cutting up meat for lunch and chopped off my arm right up to the shoulder. It happens, what can you do?

No one will even receive the status of a combat participant (especially a veteran). Simply because Ukraine is not waging a war or fighting - it’s just an anti-terrorist operation. According to the idea of ​​the ATO participants, there is some kind of status, but if the injuries are of a domestic nature, then we must assume that in the records of the military department it will not appear in Slavyansk and Saur-Mogila, but in Kharkov or Zaporozhye.

Survived and not even injured? This in itself constitutes a crime. Take, for example, the soldiers from the southern cauldron who did not want to die in the shelled steppe and, as Russian media write, asked for a “humanitarian corridor” to escape the encirclement. Criminal cases have been filed against them and they face 7 years in prison. For staying alive.

So maybe it’s easier to avoid mobilization? You will remain alive and well, you will not kill anyone, and they will only give you some 2-5 years in prison. Or you can just go to Belgorod or Simferopol - mobilization will not be enough there, and the war will end sooner or later...

Only Ukrainians are not used to making decisions and taking responsibility for their actions... Even if these actions are aimed at preserving their own life, health, freedom...
