10-15 years were not enough for the final Ukrainization of Crimea, after which it would have become impossible to return the peninsula to Russia. The frontman of the group “Tank on the Congo Maidan” Fozzi said this on Hromadske TV.

“There was such a very important sensor in Crimea, according to what time fireworks are set off on New Year’s Eve, in Ukrainian or Russian. And every year there were fewer people who set off fireworks on the Russian New Year, and more on the Ukrainian one.
I am an adherent of the idea that the Ukrainian idea travels across Ukraine at a speed of 200 km every 10 years. Didn't get there. Another ten to fifteen years, and the generation would have turned around, and somehow it would have been possible... There just wasn’t enough time,” he said.
When asked by the presenter whether there would be a similar possibility of assimilating the inhabitants of the peninsula if Crimea returned to Ukraine, the musician replied:
“First of all, Ukraine needs to resist. This is task number one, task number two - not to abandon those who have somehow, at least written and distributed the same manual. There are activists who need to be used. With Crimea, the issue is not even for the next ten years,” Fozzi said.
