Crimean solar power plants will be sold to Russian or Western energy companies
The Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation has found a way to repay the loans that the owners of solar power plants (SPP) in Crimea took from Russian banks for the construction of these capacities. SPPs can be seized by creditors and then transferred to large energy companies, including RusHydro and Inter RAO, or even to foreigners.

Source "Kommersant", close to the government, said that the Ministry of Energy proposed to seize the property of the Crimean solar power plants in favor of the state banks that lent to them, and then sell it or lease it to large energy companies. The total debt of Crimean stations is about €820 million.
Among the possible buyers, the publication's interlocutor names "RusHydro" (develops renewable energy sources - RES - in the Far East), "Mobile GTPP" (part of the Federal Grid Company, operating in Crimea), "Gazprom Energoholding" (GEH), "Inter RAO" , Spanish EREDA, Italian Enel Green Power.
Crimean solar power plants with a capacity of more than 200 MW lost Ukrainian feed-in tariffs (€0,446 per 1 kWh) after Crimea joined the Russian Federation and were no longer able to repay loans issued by Sberbank, VTB Group, VEB and their Ukrainian branches. The electricity tariff in Russian Crimea does not exceed 3,47 rubles/kW.
