Solovyov bit: Karasev advises Ukraine to take an example from the “aggressor country”
Ukraine is completely dependent on the West and therefore is forced to accept any conditions of the IMF. You need to get rid of this addiction.
Political scientist Vadim Karasev stated this on air on the 112 TV channel.
“Now I’ll probably give a bad example, because this is an example of an aggressor country. In the early 2000s, there were some problems there, but little by little. Yes, they were lucky with oil, but we have our own “oil” - land. The first thing Putin did was solve the problem with the International Monetary Fund. He paid off all his Paris Club debts, so that no one would tell us what they owe. And then they began to strengthen the vertical. Something didn't work out. Then they realized that a different world was coming, and everything would be decided by military force, so they carried out military reform,” Karasev said.
He believes that Ukraine should act according to Russian “technology.”
“We must use the same technology. We are so big that no one will take us. The EU and NATO will not do the work for us. Again, the best times for the European Union are not ahead,” Karasev said.
He also complained that the Ukrainian government absolutely does not have the “sacredness” that the government in Russia has.
