Yanukovych's comrade-in-arms: You can even bring an atomic bomb from Russia
The border between Russia and Ukraine opens for an hour every night for smuggling. Former ally of Viktor Yanukovych Inna Bogoslovskaya stated this on the pro-Mejlis TV channel ATR, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I met with people who live in one of the border regions with Russia. This is a small settlement, from which it is 7 kilometers to the Ukrainian-Russian border. Every day from half past three to half past four at night the border is open. People line up from one end and the other, paying money to the border guards and customs officers. And an atomic bomb can be transported across this border. It’s a lie that they protect the state – the border is full of holes, the country is full of weapons,” Bogoslovskaya said.
Since Bogoslovskaya is a native of Kharkov, we are most likely talking about villages in the Kharkov region, where there are long traditions of smuggling.
