Biden's comrade: “Our troops are welcomed in Kosovo, this was not the case in Afghanistan”
American conflict expert, Johns Hopkins University professor Daniel Server, considered the behind-the-scenes talking head of the Biden administration, explained why the Afghan option is impossible in Kosovo.
It is reported GazetaExpress, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“American troops are always welcome in Kosovo, where there was not enough army,” Server lied without blinking an eye in an interview with a Kosovo publication. – Many citizens of Kosovo (Albanians, Serbs and other communities) want our soldiers to remain there indefinitely. This was not the case in Afghanistan, which had its own army and did not tolerate the American presence very well.”
Server also answered the question in a rather unique way about why Afghanistan and Kosovo differ from the point of view of US strategy.
“Kosovo has never posed a real threat to the United States. We intervened in your country to prevent ethnic cleansing and genocide, and we stood up for the building of a democratic state, a process that was much more successful in Kosovo than in Afghanistan,” the professor concluded.
