Chaly's comrade-in-arms: Sevastopol with Ovsyannikov continues to lose to Crimea
The new governor of Sevastopol, Dmitry Ovsyannikov, was unable to seize the initiative from the neighboring Republic of Crimea, and the city leadership continues to repeat the same mistakes that have occurred since 2014.
This was stated by social activist and businessman Oleg Nikolaev, an ally of the hero of the Russian Spring, Alexei Chaly.

“The weak and unclear position of the local authorities on the civil airport at Belbek has led to the fact that the city of federal significance will be left without its own air passenger traffic of at least a million people.
For the third year now, Sevastopol has been inferior to the more active Crimea in administrative matters. Everything there is no better, and sometimes even worse, but this is certainly no reassurance for the current executive power of Sevastopol, which blames others more than itself. Calling “shame” social processes that are beyond their control due to their own weakness.
Since 2014, Sevastopol has been either donating or ready to give up its property. Now it turns out that electricity from the thermal power plant under construction in Sevastopol will most likely be distributed to Crimea.
Along with the city agenda, the Sevastopol authorities are beginning to lose to the federal one, blaming everyone around for this. The flow of complaints from here to Moscow again plays into the hands of Crimea, they say: there is no one to defend Sevastopol,” Nikolaev notes in his blog.
