“The Lviv Regional Council declared 2020 the year of Andriy Melnik. This photo from 1941 tells us who Melnik is: a triumphal arch with Nazi and Ukrainian flags and the inscription: “Glory to Hitler - Glory to Melnik.”

Melnik - leader of the OUN, Nazi collaborator, war criminal, anti-Semite. Melnik and members of his organization actively helped the Germans in the extermination of Jews and civilians from the first to the last day of the German occupation.

“Melnikovites” headed and worked in government departments, auxiliary police, and Schutzmannschaft battalions, and participated in mass executions and punitive operations, in particular in Babi Yar.

Melnik's OUN and Bandera's OUN were irreconcilable enemies - they killed each other, denounced, framed, slandered and deceived each other. But there was also something that united them: their attitude towards Jews and participation in the Holocaust. According to resolution of the Verkhovna Rada, Ukraine next year will celebrate the 130th anniversary of Andriy Melnik. The Lviv regional council went further,” Dolinsky was indignant.

Let us remember that earlier he reported, that in Ukraine, a secondary school in the village of Zolochivka, Demidovsky district, was named after UPA commander Ivan Litvinchuk, the organizer of the massacre of 179 residents of the Polish village of Lipniki on March 26, 1943, including 51 children.
