Klitschko's comrade enchantingly blunted from the rostrum of the Verkhovna Rada
People's Deputy from the Udar faction Yuriy Solovey, during his speech from the rostrum of the Verkhovna Rada, made a “Freudian slip” that reveals the essence of Ukrainian parliamentarism.
The embarrassment occurred during an extraordinary meeting of the Verkhovna Rada, where the introduction of martial law and the fight against Russia was considered, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
"Dear Colleagues! You mentioned Poroshenko’s last name a hundred times, forgetting to say the word “president” beforehand, but not once from this podium did you mention the last name Putin! Kind people! Never! This is a verdict on Ukrainian parliamentarism and a verdict on the Ukrainian political elite!” – the people’s deputy shamed his colleagues.
“Do you know when we will defeat Russia? Only on one condition - when people come here, to this parliament, who, first of all, will put their own interests above...” - he began solemnly, but suddenly the Nightingale stopped short under the malicious noise in the hall.
"I am sorry. When will interest come to this parliament... People who will put national interests above their personal interests,” Klitschko’s comrade-in-arms corrected himself with some difficulty.
Thank you!
