The politician wrote about this on his page on the social network.
“I decided to distribute street trading permits to ATO veterans. Their families, their widows. How they do it in the USA. Yes, as they do in the USA. Do you know that in New York in Central Park and in Washington near the White House only Vietnam War veterans can sell? They have a lifetime trading license. A personal license that is not transferable to third parties. I don’t yet know what exact procedure we will come up with in Dnieper. And who will have the right to this trade. And for how long? But we'll definitely come up with something. And with the help of the participants in the hostilities, we will restore order in the city with illegal trade,” the mayor said.
“And I also know for sure that all the widows of our Dnieper boys who died near Ilovaisk will eventually receive the best and fattest trading positions. In the very center of the city. And let them do what they want with them. They rent out, hire staff, invite investors. This is only the little that we can do for them in order to repay our debts,” Filatov wrote, adding that the mayor’s office “has already turned to American specialists for help.”
