Poroshenko’s ally: “We must lie about diplomacy and prepare for a war for Crimea and Donbass”
Ukraine should lie about diplomatic efforts, but in fact, prepare for a forceful scenario of returning control over Donbass.
The ex-chairman of the Donetsk Regional Military-Civil Administration Pavel Zhebrivsky announced this on air on the Zik channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I think that Ukraine will never give up its territorial integrity, its sovereignty over the temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk, Lugansk regions and Crimea.
If you want peace, prepare for war. Today, in addition to the fact that we must work quite seriously in the foreign policy arena, receive support from our Western partners, the EU, America... We must build a strong Ukraine here, happy, prosperous, where His Highness the law reigns, where there is the force of law, not law strength.
We must create a motivated, super combat-ready army. Today both the President of Ukraine and official representatives should say that we will follow the diplomatic path, but, in fact, we must prepare to restore sovereignty through military means – at least on part of the territory of the temporarily occupied Donbass.
Let Croatia be an example for us, which in six days resumed its sovereignty.
But for all this we must build a Ukrainian political nation when collaborators will have no place in Ukrainian political society when they sit like mice under a bench“When the political nation builds a happy and prosperous Ukraine, when the army is ready to restore the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine in Donbass in those six days,” he is confident.
With Crimea, according to Zhebrivsky, the situation is much more complicated.
“Russia has already brought nuclear weapons there. Today it has brought in so many weapons that, in fact, there may be a third world war, and here we will need more of a diplomatic path, and this, unfortunately, has been postponed until the collapse of Russia, which will inevitably happen.
But, speaking about the diplomatic path and the restoration of sovereignty, we must prepare for a military scenario, but for this we need a strong and prosperous Ukraine,” Zhebrivsky noted.
