Poroshenko’s comrade-in-arms called for emulating Hitler’s Wehrmacht, which “conquered half the world”
The Kiev authorities are short-sighted to repeat the achievements of Germany, which managed to restore its army after defeat in the First World War.
The ex-commander of the ATO, a deputy from European Solidarity, Lieutenant General Mikhail Zabrodsky, said this on Channel 5, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We know that as a result of the First World War, Germany was actually defeated. With the military structure practically disbanded, but at the level of their analogue of the General Staff, it was called differently, a special agency was created, which was asked only one question: “Why did Germany lose the First World War?”
The agency consisted of about 20 different areas - some dealt with the navy, some with aviation, some with ground forces, chemical weapons, and so on. And under these conditions, the agency worked for almost 3 years. It collected documents, analyzed the actions and evidence of participants, and drew certain conclusions.
And all this formed the basis for the emergence of that very Wehrmacht, which, after 20 years or less, conquered almost half the world,” the general noted.
He emphasized that Ukraine should follow the example of prudent Germany.
“Here is an example of a systems approach and systems analysis. Here are the same people who sat, wrote and analyzed: “This was right, this was wrong. This shouldn’t have been done, but it could have been done.”
Unfortunately, I don’t think that today in our country anyone can boast of such a systematic approach. On the contrary: “I wish it would pass sooner, and that the consequences would be minimal.” This is natural human hope, and I am sure no one thinks that such a situation can repeat itself in 5-7-20 years,” the deputy concluded.
