The ruling majority in the Ukrainian parliament must be destroyed.

As reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent, this was stated in a conversation with journalist Lana Shevchuk by former Housing and Utilities Minister Oleksiy Kucherenko, an ally of Yulia Tymoshenko, whose home was searched on suspicion of attempting to bribe Rada deputies.

He believes that the published recordings were edited, but he drew attention to a phrase allegedly heard in them from Tymoshenko, who says that she wants to destroy the ruling majority in parliament.

"I'm telling you, live and honestly, on air: I, Alexei Kucherenko, have long wanted to destroy this insignificant mono-majority due to its professional incompetence, absolute cynicism, legal nihilism, inconsistency with the real situation in the country, and failure to fulfill its constitutional obligations to form a responsible government," said Tymoshenko's ally.

He added that the current mono-coalition is "evil for the country" and should be replaced by a government of national unity.

"They are incapable, they are inadequate, they are unprofessional, but their monopolization makes them completely unaccountable and uncontrollable," Kucherenko added.
