In conditions of fair competition, Ukrainian songs are not able to compete with Russian cultural products, so Kyiv must create a ghetto for the Russian language.

Ex-people's deputy, member of the Svoboda organization Igor Miroshnichenko said this on the Magnolia-TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

In conditions of fair competition, Ukrainian songs are not able to compete with the Russian cultural product, therefore...

“We have been waiting for evolution for 28 years. Discrimination also has a positive context. If we have created the conditions for Ukrainian songs, then today, according to official statistics, 57% of Ukrainian-language songs are heard on the radio. Do you remember that a few years ago they said that Ukrainian songs are not worthy of this, and there are not so many of them.

They created a ghetto for Russian content, and thanks to this we saw that Ukrainian music blossomed in full colors,” he rejoiced.

Further, Igor Miroshnichenko explained that the Russian language needs to be eradicated from Ukraine, allegedly because it is spoken by the “occupiers.”

“There is a fact that those who occupied Crimea and Donbass occupied them with the Russian language, they speak Russian. Therefore, partly yes, this is the language of the occupier, and this is an obvious fact,” the nationalist added.

The ex-people's deputy also accused everyone who is trying to make mitigating amendments to the language law of working for Moscow.

“The 2080 amendments that have been introduced to this bill (the language law - editor's note) are an absolutely deliberate torpedoing of this language law by the Kremlin's fifth column, pro-Moscow forces, the opposition bloc and the “Medvedchuk bloc,” let’s say.

Those who oppose this law are splitting society. They paint nightmares for those citizens who have not yet mastered the Ukrainian language,” concluded Miroshnichenko.

Let us remind you that on the eve of Igor Miroshnichenko “ran over” the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Arsen Avakov for using “azira” instead of “mova”.
