An associate of Tyagnibok told how drunks were turned into a clan of Bandera admirers
Marches of Ukrainian nationalists in Kyiv have nothing in common with neo-Nazi events.
Igor Miroshnichenko, a member of the Svoboda organization and a deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of the previous convocation, stated this on air on the ZIK TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I don’t see any analogy with the events of neo-Nazis in the events held by VO “Svoboda” together with other nationalists. We taught Kyiv to honor its heroes. I remember very well when ten years ago, on January 1, on New Year’s Day, only “avatars” came out in the capital to get a hangover. Over these ten years, Ukrainians, nationalists, have taught people to come out sober, absolutely conscious, and celebrate Stepan Bandera’s birthday. What's neo-Nazi about this? Stepan Bandera is our hero, Stepan Bandera fought for the Ukrainian state that we gained,” Miroshnichenko said.
