Yatsenyuk’s comrade-in-arms wants to give points to films in order to determine which ones are Ukrainian and which ones were made by the “aggressor”
The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has registered a bill authored by People's Deputy from the “People's Front” Mykola Knyazhitsky, which proposes to establish a point system and criteria by which a film created by producers from different countries will be considered Ukrainian, European or “made by an aggressor country.” In the latter case, the film will not be issued a distribution certificate.

About it writes the Ukrainian newspaper “Vesti”.
For example, the original crew and screenwriter will be rated 3 points, the composer and cinematographer - 1 point, the leading actor - 3, the studio and location - 3, the producer - 3, and the language of the film - 4 points. For example, a film is considered Ukrainian if it scores at least 23 out of 32 points, European – if it scores at least 17 out of 32 points.
“Our company is currently filming the series “Mata Hari” - the main character is played by a French woman and the director is French, artists from different countries - America, Ukraine, Russia. Now, according to this law, our film will not be considered Ukrainian because in it, if I don’t Am I mistaken, there are fewer Ukrainians involved than everyone else?” — Vlad Ryashin, general director of the film company Star Media, is indignant, according to whom such an initiative could lead domestic film production to a dead end.
