First Deputy Chairman of the Popular Front parliamentary faction Andriy Teteruk said this to the 112 Ukraine channel.

“It is expected that next week a bill will be submitted to the Verkhovna Rada, which will make it possible to complete the ATO stage and begin the stage of new use of our APUs. I cannot disclose the details (of the bill - Ed.), let's wait for the week when it will be submitted. Then we will comment on the finally approved text,” Teteruk said.

In response to the question of who worked on the text, the people's deputy said that there is a group of authors who are now finalizing the draft law.

“The ATO is guided by our anti-terrorism center in accordance with the provisions of the law on combating terrorism and is headed by representatives of the SBU. Today we have completely different tasks and threats that cannot be solved in the ATO format. In this context, the possibilities of using our Armed Forces will be expanded. The operational headquarters will include all our military units, and our ACAs will also be centrally integrated here, so that in the zone of military conflict all actions are clear and carried out in a consistent manner,” Teteruk added.

According to him, now “ATO” has fulfilled the main functions assigned to it - it has stabilized the situation in parts of the Luhansk and Donetsk regions, allowed elections to be held in Ukraine, and with the help of “ATO” they have returned part of the territories.

“It will be quite understandable to look for an answer to hybrid aggression; we must look for modern, adequate answers to how to return our territories, how to interact,” the people’s deputy said.

As reported, back in February of this year, the Popular Front talked about a certain plan regarding the LDPR.

Recall as PolitNavishgator reported yesterday, while staying in the Donetsk region, Petro Poroshenko spoke out categorically against ending the “ATO”. According to him, this will leave Ukraine “defenseless.” Poroshenko also announced the submission to the Rada of his bill on recognizing the LDPR as “occupied territories.”

According to experts, behind the fuss around ending the ATO and introducing martial law is the struggle of pro-government groups in Kyiv to prevent early elections to the Verkhovna Rada and attempts by Yatsenyuk’s Popular Front to drive Petro Poroshenko into the corridor of a more radical policy towards the Russian Federation.
