Yatsenyuk's ally compared Putin to a cat
Speaking at a meeting of the Conciliation Council of faction leaders and chairmen of committees of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Maxim Burbak (People's Front) called the Russian court's decision to arrest Yatsenyuk “Putin's primitive revenge” and compared the Russian leadership to a cat that “finds a way to have fun in its free moment,” PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“The Russian court of Essentuki decided to arrest the ex-Prime Minister of Ukraine, the leader of the Popular Front, Arseniy Yatsenyuk, apparently with the hope that this will prevent Arseniy Petrovich from holding foreign policy meetings in the interests of our state, primarily during foreign visits. It is clear that this is revenge for a purposeful anti-Kremlin policy, primitive and unworthy for the very ambitious Putin. I would like to appeal to the Russian leadership with advice: when they come up with similar ideas again, let them remember the Ukrainian proverb about a resourceful cat who finds a way to have fun in his free moment,” said Yatsenyuk’s comrade-in-arms.
