Yanukovych's comrade-in-arms about Belarus: This is a complete copy of the Ukrainian Maidan
The current protests in Belarus are completely identical to the Ukrainian Maidans, which, as is known, were organized with the active participation of the West.
Former Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov stated this on radio Baltkom, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The events in Belarus are a complete copy of what happened in Ukraine in 2004 and 2013-14. It's impossible to even find differences there. The only thing is that all preparations for the Belarusian events were carried out implicitly abroad. There were people working inside the country who have now come to the forefront,” Azarov said.
Otherwise, in his opinion, the mechanisms of destabilization are identical.
“The main technology is that you need to demonize either the government or the leader. Like in Belarus: 26 years in power, a dictator, with him there will be no changes for the better. The peak of demonization coincides with choices that become a stage of delegitimization. The government loses its legitimacy, and the thesis of falsification is put forward. However, no evidence is provided,” Azarov said.
