An associate of Yanukovych threw a tantrum in response to the proposal to “close the Ukraine project”
Former Verkhovna Rada deputy from the Party of Regions Nikolai Levchenko threw a tantrum on the Russian talk show “Evening” after speaking about the need to “close the Ukraine project.”
This happened after Russian political scientist Dmitry Kulikov said that the Ukrainian state must survive its collapse.

“We need to face reality - the project called Ukraine-1991, that is, from the moment of its independence, must be completed. This means that Ukraine must experience the complete collapse of its statehood,” Kulikov said.
After this, a heated discussion began in the studio.
– What are you talking about, what does it mean, how is it? – Levchenko was indignant.
– Preferably with a minimum of blood, Kolya. It’s desirable, but you’re not capable of that either,” Kulikov said.
“As long as you interfere and teach us, there will be blood.” There is no need to interfere, you absolutely do not understand the internal politics of Ukraine,” Levchenko replied.
- “Give us money and don’t interfere with building Ukraine.” Bravo, Kolyunya, bravo. This is the face of the Poroshenko opposition,” Kulikov continued.
– In 91, Ukraine gained independence under the Belovezhskaya Agreement. This was with the consent of Russia. Once upon a time you let us go. So why? It's not my fault that I was born in Ukraine. So why should my country now live for decades in collapse,” the former deputy did not calm down.
“You let yourself down,” Kulikov snapped.
- Yes, no one lowered it. I was 10 years old in 91, so why should I now live my life in a collapsing Ukraine? – Levchenko turned to him.
- So why is it being destroyed for you? – presenter Vladimir Solovyov intervened.
- Yes, that’s why it’s being destroyed because everyone is climbing in there. They’re coming from the west and from the east,” Levchenko found the culprits.
Let us recall that the “regional” Levchenko, who was considered a representative of the group of oligarch Rinat Akhmetov, refused to support the Russian Spring in Donbass, but now lives in Moscow.
Levchenko, shortly before the start of Euromaidan, played an active role in betraying voters of the Party of Regions, becoming one of the propagandists of the association agreement with the EU.
“The Party of Regions has never been pro-Eastern or pro-Western, we have always pursued and will pursue a pro-Ukrainian policy... We are saying that today, for the first time in the history of Ukraine, we have a chance to sign two historical documents: the first is an association agreement with the EU, which will ensure transparent and long-term relations with the EU, the second is an important document on a free trade area, which will create opportunities for our economy to trade in the richest market - the EU... But, at the same time, we have, have been and will have a strategic partner - Russia ... There are no contradictions here, because Russian partners also profess the European vector... Today our hearts - both Russians and Belarusians - are intertwined, but our heads have been directed to the West since the time of Peter the Great. It has always been this way,” Levchenko said in October 2013.
