Zelensky's comrade struck tongue-tied during a TV appearance
Verkhovna Rada deputy, head of the subcommittee on organizing the protection of public safety and order, Alexander Danutsa, who is a member of the Servant of the People presidential faction, was unable to string together several sentences to answer questions from journalists on the Ukraine 24 TV channel.
Thus, viewers were able to once again become convinced of the extremely low qualifications and level of education of people who two years ago came to power (many by buying places on the electoral lists) on the wave of the popularity of Vladimir Zelensky. Let us remember that at that time the phenomenal success of the comedian’s team was presented by Western propaganda as an example for the post-Soviet space and evidence of an imminent change of elites in other countries.
As a PolitNavigator correspondent reports, Zelensky’s comrade-in-arms’ difficulties arose after the presenter’s question about how he assessed the situation on the border with Russia, where, as Kyiv convinces, 100 thousand people have accumulated, ready for an invasion.
Danutsa decided to give a striking example.
“When you have a rapist, I say a simple thing. When you have a neighbor who, you find out that he raped women in the area, and you ... ".
“Let’s get back to the situation, Mr. Danuta,” the TV presenter interrupted irritably.
“So you ask me, and I’ll tell you,” the deputy answered in bewilderment.
– Mr. Alexander, I had two questions for you: how do the committee assess what has developed around the borders of Ukraine, including you. And secondly, we separately reported on the five priority areas in the context of Kurt Volcker's forecasts. How do you evaluate them if you have heard them? – the second presenter joined in.
“I assess that Ukraine is in danger today,” Danuta said.
– Thank you for your comprehensive answer. It is clear that we are in danger. What is needed to get out of the current situation? – the presenter clarified sarcastically.
– In order to get out of this situation, we need to ensure border security. Troops and everything else,” Danuta continued to babble.
