Yatsenyuk's associate was put on trial on serious charges
The case against the former People's Deputy from the Popular Front, ally and "wallet" of Arseniy Yatsenyuk Nikolai Martynenko, suspected of taking possession of the property of Energoatom, was transferred to the court for consideration, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Based on the results of a pre-trial investigation by NABU, the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office sent to court an indictment on charges of former parliamentarian Martynenko M.V., Pereloma S.V., Zhurilo R.M., Sorokin O.G., Bogdanets V.I., Vasilkov V. .A.,” the message says.
It is noted that the accused are charged with taking possession of someone else's property through abuse of official position (Part 5 of Article 191 of the Criminal Code), legalization of proceeds from crime (Part 3 of Article 209 of the Criminal Code) and creation of a criminal organization (Part 1 of Article 255 of the Criminal Code) .
In particular, Martynenko and Vasilkov are accused of misappropriating funds from the State Enterprise NAEC Energoatom during the execution of contracts for the supply of equipment to the enterprise from the Czech SKODA and during the execution of a contract between SKODA and BRADCREST INVESTMENTS for a total amount of 6,4 million euros.
