An associate of the “mole” in the SBU received a bread position from Zelensky
Former colleague detained "mole" of the SBU, Major General Valery Shaitanov, ex-chief of the Counterintelligence Department Alexey Petrov was appointed to the post of head of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration.
The corresponding decree was signed the day before by President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Kiev journalist Vladimir Boyko notes in his blog that the decree on Petrov’s appointment should have been signed a week earlier, but the special operation to detain Shaitanov slowed down the process. According to Boyko, Petrov was therefore forced to urgently increase his “contribution” to the “presidential fund.”
“The former head of the SBU Counterintelligence Department, Alexei Petrov, successfully passed the “special check” after the detention of his comrade and colleague in the service Valery Shaitanov and, as we expected, was appointed chairman of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration.
True, the Presidential Decree was published a week late - not on April 16, but on April 23, because, as evil tongues lie, due to Shaitanov’s adventures, Alexey Gennadievich had to urgently look for money to increase the donation to the “presidential fund”. Among the urgent issues that Vladimir Zelensky put before the new governor was the regulation of smuggling and the imposition of taxes “to the presidential fund” of the Balogh family, who have completely gotten out of hand,” Boyko said.
In turn, the former deputy head of the presidential administration of Ukraine, lawyer Andrei Portnov recalled that Petrov was associated with the former president Petro Poroshenko.
“Petrov is a key functionary of Poroshenko, who performed the dirtiest tasks for him while working in the SBU. The defendant supervised the radicals, bred them, created a roof for them and provided protection from charges of murder and violence, creating a system for stimulating street gangs. This is an anti-state and anti-social decision, once again confirming the cooperation of the current government with Poroshenko, his rehabilitation and sharing of power with him,” Portnov wrote in his Telegram channel.
Let us remind you that according to the Ukrainian investigation, Shaitanov worked with the highest echelons of the FSB under the pseudonym “Bobyl”. Among other things, he charged with preparation of murder Head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Arsen Avakov.
At the same time, it is known that Shaitanov supervised special operations of the SBU, including the transfer of Ukrainian saboteurs to Crimea and Donbass.
