Companions of the leader of the “Russian Bloc” went out on single pickets
A series of single pickets by Russian Bloc activists took place in Sevastopol in support of Gennady Basov, who has been behind bars for about three years on charges of attempted fraud. The politician’s associates believe that he became a victim of provocation after he tried to eliminate the “black” schemes formed in Ukrainian times in the funeral services market of Sevastopol.

The picketers unfurled posters in support of President Vladimir Putin, as well as slogans criticizing local officials: “Freedom for all those illegally convicted. Customers to prison”, “We demand to stop arbitrariness and contract cases”, “You will answer us for Basov”, etc.
As is known, in Ukraine a criminal case was also recently opened against Basov under the article “high treason” - the politician played one of the decisive roles in the formation of self-defense units and preparations for the referendum in Sevastopol during the Russian Spring.
