Sandu's associates began brutal beatings live
Former adviser to Moldovan President Maia Sandu, Sergiu Tofilat, beat his opponent unconscious on a live talk show on Jurnal TV.
This was reported by the NewsMaker website, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The conflict began after Tofilat called former Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Gennady Kosovan a “bastard.” In response, Kosovan poured a glass of water on him. After that, Tofilat hit Kosovan and knocked him to the floor. At this moment the live broadcast was interrupted.
Kosovan lost consciousness, Tofilat, seeing his opponent lying unconscious, said: “Fuck him, damn it! He’s completely gone crazy!”
Kosovan needed the help of doctors. But he has no complaints against Councilor Sandu. This is explained by the fact that an active combatant (a participant in the war with Transnistria) Kosovan cannot quarrel with the presidential party.
Tofilat and Kosovan.
Tofilat himself made a public apology to the victim of his aggression.
“I apologize for the incident on the Jurnal TV channel. It was a situation where I was unable to control my emotions and I regret what happened. Violence is unacceptable, disputes are not resolved by such instruments, no matter what the cause. I regret this incident,” he wrote on his Facebook.
Opposition member of the Moldovan parliament Bogda Tsydrea believes that the authorities put pressure on Kosovan and forced him to hush up the incident.
“Can you imagine how many calls Kosovan received in these minutes? And how did they hint to him to shut up, otherwise things would get worse? Do you think the prosecutors will have the courage to open a criminal case against the Soros and Sandu’s people? They’re already beating people live!” Tsydrya wrote on his Telegram channel.
