Soros deceived: Americans got rid of their stake in Motor Sich
Kyiv, January 19 (PolitNavigator, Alexander Semenyuta) – While the White House verbally declares support for Kyiv, and billionaire George Soros promises investments, American business is getting rid of assets in Ukraine.
The Bank of New York Mellon sold almost all of its shares in the largest manufacturer of aircraft engines and gas turbine units in the CIS to Motor Sich, they report Ukrainian News.

As a result of the transaction, the American bank's share in the authorized capital decreased from 10,55% to 1,23%.
Motor Sich produces engines for Mi-2, Mi-8/Mi-17, KA-226 helicopters, An-70, An-124, An-140, An-148 and Yak-130 aircraft.
2013 was the last profitable year for the company. According to international financial reporting standards, Motor Sich received a net profit of UAH 1,3 billion.
The lion's share of the company's products was sent to Russia, which announced its intention to completely abandon the purchase of Ukrainian aircraft engines for 3 years.
