Soros proposed using Ukraine as cannon fodder in the fight against Russia
Financier George Soros, considered one of the organizers of color revolutions in the post-Soviet space, actually proposes using Ukraine as cannon fodder in the fight against Russia, so that the West itself does not have to fight with Moscow.
He comes forward with this initiative in Project Syndicate in a publication reprinted by the Kyiv magazine “Novoe Vremya”.

“European leaders, in particular, have failed to properly appreciate the importance of Ukraine,” the billionaire believes. – By defending itself, Ukraine also defends the EU. If Putin succeeds in destabilizing Ukraine, he can subsequently use the same combination of hybrid war and hybrid peace to divide the EU and enslave some of its members.”
In this regard, the financier proposes to significantly increase the amount of Western assistance to Ukraine.
“If Ukraine is defeated, the EU will have to defend itself on its own,” Soros offers himself as a futurist. – Financial and human losses will significantly exceed the cost of assistance to Ukraine. That’s why, instead of feeding Ukraine crumbs, the European Union and its members should consider aid to Ukraine as defense spending. In this light, the funds being spent now turn out to be extremely insignificant.”
