US plans to become invulnerable to Russian missiles thwarted
The United States is extremely concerned about the emergence of a new type of supersonic Russian missile.

“There are no official reports about the tasks and combat characteristics of the A-235 system yet. However, the United States believes that Moscow is creating the Nudol system, in which an important place is given to anti-satellite missiles,” the article says.
In turn, military expert Vladimir Popov, who served in air defense for a long time in the past, suggests that the 53T6M and the mobile Nudol have similar characteristics and are capable of shooting down both satellites and warheads of ballistic missiles in near space.
“You may recall that in April, the head of the US Space Force, John Raymond, said that “Russian missile defense tests pose a challenge to US interests in near-Earth space.” According to him, this Russian system is “capable of destroying satellites in low orbit.” After the US withdrawal from the Anti-Ballistic Missile Treaty, the Pentagon set out to become strategically invulnerable from Moscow's missile weapons.
