Soskin predicts the creation of the Bukovinian Confederation with Transnistria and Odessa
Russia can take the Transnistrian issue seriously and, with the support of Turkey, create a large, friendly state.
A former adviser to ex-President of Ukraine Kuchma, political scientist and economist Oleg Soskin told propagandist Alexander Shelest about this on the channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Shelest noted that, in fact, nothing happened, because in Transnistria, instead of asking to join the Russian Federation, they simply called on Moscow to protect it from Moldovan economic pressure.
“How did this not happen? Well, yes, have you read this resolution? From genocide! There are very serious formulations, they just chose a more subtle model. I thought they would follow a straight model, but they followed a sophisticated one. They say: help, they are killing, Moldova, Sandu, Grosu are doing genocide to us, people have nothing to eat, children are sitting hungry, enterprises are closed, they have surrounded us with red flags! And here there are 220 thousand with Russian passports. Putin, Duma, protect!
And then the hybrid game began. Believe it or not, Sandu has elections in November, and Romania has rolled its lips so hard that it says, and we will take Moldova. There is still no Moldovan language, there is Romanian, Grosu is our girl. But recent studies have shown that Dodon is winning, but Dodon said - no, I am not involved in these matters yet. But every day Sandu’s rating is falling,” Soskin said.
At the same time, he expressed concern that Ukraine’s border with Transnistria has not been strengthened.
“What difference does it make to Medvedev where to throw the bomb? Or London, or Paris, or Bucharest. It’s even easier to throw a neutron bomb on Bucharest, no matter how much Bucharest there is. From Tiraspol or Bendery to Odessa one hundred kilometers.
And what did Transnistria say? It listed how many different weapons they had. Do you know how many Ukrainian men went there? According to the latest data, about 250 thousand. There were about 200 thousand Ukrainians, as I understand it, up to half a million Ukrainians, most of them men. Why should we build a house?
Or maybe we have something closed there with Odessa, maybe there is an army there, maybe the “Surovikin Line” has been built? There's nothing there at all. Why can’t a Bukovinian Confederation be created, for example? Nothing gets in the way. With Odessa - a free port, and Russia and Turkey as guarantors. I think the situation is extremely serious,” the political scientist warned.
