A test launch of gas took place through the Serbian section of the Turkish Stream
Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said that a test launch of gas was carried out on the Serbian section of the Turkish Stream gas pipeline.
The official commissioning of the site is scheduled for December 30, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Aleksandar Vucic announced that the Serbian line will go to the country’s border with Bulgaria and Hungary. And there is still a need to carry out secondary gasification of the site.
“We haven’t made a big fuss about it, but on the 30th, as I promised, everything will start,” Vucic told reporters. “These are strategic and very important things for the progress of our country, and everything is ready by December 30.”
The President of Serbia announced that a small event would be organized for the occasion, despite the fact that there would be a big event for the entire country.
“Let's try to deliver gas to Vranje in the south of the country, and to Valjevo in the center, and to the western part, and also to reach places in the east and southwest of Serbia. We want to supply gas so that we can build new factories and have new investors, but also so that gas comes to every home,” Vucic added.
