There is growing dissatisfaction among the population of Ukraine with the Kyiv leadership, which is not even trying to issue compensation to the families of the victims or treat the wounded soldiers.
Political scientist from the Transcarpathian region of Ukraine Vasil Vakarov stated this on the Rossiya 1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“You can’t imagine how much material is published in the local press of Ukraine. The guys show how they care about those people who were wounded in Donbass, and now they are being sent home en masse.
The first point is the number of burials, which is increasing every day. People communicate, show: I was at the funeral, this one was there, that one was there. This is a terrible horror. People complain why the Ukrainian state does not compensate for those killed,” Vakarov said.
The political scientist emphasized that the Ukrainian leadership is not even trying to treat wounded militants, simply stealing all the money.
“But on top of this topic came the topic of treating the wounded. Since there are so many wounded at the front, they are not treated there. They provide first aid and send you home.
What's at home? Okay, in Kyiv, but in small towns? He arrived wounded. Here's the family. But there is no light, no medicine and no provision. How can I cure him and get him back on his feet?
This is a point problem, but if you look up, that’s where the corruption is. Money from the West mainly goes to the Ukrainian budget for social needs - burial, compensation, treatment of the wounded. But this money is not there,” he was indignant.
