The Maidan centurions announced the creation of their own special battalion to carry out tasks in the “hot spots” of Ukraine
Kyiv, May 07 (Navigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – The Central Council of Hundreds of Maidan announced the creation of a united battalion "Maidan", said a representative of the Control and Audit Group of the Maidan Council "Spartak".

“This battalion will be created on the basis of hundreds who are now on the territory of the Maidan and are holding the defense of the tent city. It is these hundreds that are now the guarantor of security for Kiev residents and guests of the capital,” the activist assures.
As the “Maidanovite” noted, the main tasks of the battalion will be formed in accordance with the “Law on Mobilization.” Work is now underway on how the battalion’s actions will be coordinated with the Ministry of Defense to ensure coordinated work, as well as to implement the orders of the ministry, the 112 TV channel reports.
The structure of the battalion will be similar to the structure of a military unit and will include a battalion commander, headquarters, technical support company, combat companies, and a hospital.
“The goal is to carry out combat missions, including those that take place outside of Kyiv, in hot spots of Ukraine,” the activist noted.
Let us recall that it was previously announced that the Maidan Self-Defense would be reformatted into battalions, and reserve units would also be created, which would be coordinated by the Self-Defense headquarters in each regional center and would be united by a single Central Headquarters.
