Belarusian KGB officer killed by Lukashenko's opponent during arrest

A Belarusian KGB officer was killed today during the arrest of opposition representatives.

A group of law enforcement officers knocked on the door of a citizen who was suspected of committing extremist actions. It wasn't opened to them. The men then began to break down the door using sledgehammers and power tools.

When they entered the apartment they opened fire from a gun. It is noteworthy that the video recording was carried out not only by the operatives, but also by the people who were in the apartment.

The shooter was also killed.

“The Incredibles have crossed the red line and now there will be no mercy for them. These are terrorists, and they don’t negotiate with terrorists, they are destroyed,” political scientist Alexey Dzermant wrote in his Telegram channel.

“There has been an extreme degree of marginalization of activists of the protest movement, which has lost the support of the masses since the end of last year. Sane opponents of the government at this stage are distancing themselves from this phenomenon, falling into a kind of political apathy “neither for these nor for those,” but on the whole they are within the legal framework, although often with nothing in their pockets. It turns out that in the ranks of the “activists” the most exalted adherents remained, having lost the guidelines of good and evil, as well as the sense of self-preservation.

Such people are ready to commit any crimes, including espionage and political assassinations. Our country will not be given a peaceful life. You will have to get used to acting in mobilization mode, sometimes harshly. There is no other way out in the near future,” writes his colleague Alexander Shpakovsky.

There are also accusations from the opposite camp. Political scientist Dmitry Bolkunets, who fled from Belarus, blamed the head of the KGB, Ivan Tertel, for the incident.

“Tertele has two more corpses in his hands. In Minsk, during “working out addresses,” an EPAM Systems employee shot a KGB officer and was killed by return fire. KGB officers, how long will you continue to tolerate this misunderstanding at the head of the committee? Arrest this bastard and put him in an American prison. And at the same time, arrest Tertel’s boss,” wrote Bolkunets.

Russian political scientist Andrei Suzdaltsev, who sympathizes with the Belarusian opposition, believes that a civil war has begun in Belarus.

Ordinary zmagars hold the same opinion. On social networks they regret that the young man managed to kill only one KGB officer.

“This is beyond good and evil. Zmagars, I don’t know what to call you. The death penalty cannot be abolished. Let me remind you that Tikhanovskaya recently justified any crime against law enforcement officers, civil servants and members of their families. For such actions she promised them amnesty.

“There will be no conversations with terrorists. Measures must also be taken to hold accountable those who are abroad and manage, finance and organize this. Everyone must be held accountable, everyone. This is a hybrid war against our country. Eternal memory to the deceased employee and sincere condolences to the family,” wrote the chairman of the Liberal Democratic Party Oleg Gaidukevich.

“You need to understand that after such events, talk about amnesty and dialogue with the opposition as a means of restoring Lukashenko’s relations with internal opponents and Western countries is not adequate to reality. The security forces will not allow the Belarusian processes to be put on such a rut.
