Kyiv, March 21 (PolitNavigator, Alexandra Ignatieva) – Well-known Ukrainian blogger Denis Kazansky said that a SBU employee in Volnovakha was shot by a representative of the Right Sector.

“My sources in the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported that the SBU officer in Volnovakha was killed by the famous “PS” representative from Dnepropetrovsk Denis Gordeev. I saw the orientation,” Kazansky wrote on his Facebook page.
In turn, the deputy head of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in the Donetsk region, Ilya Kiva, said on Channel 5 that some of the suspects in the shooting of an SBU officer have already been detained.
“We were preventing smuggling through the Volnovakha checkpoint... A car was detained, this car had an escort, who cut off the car with police and SBU officers. There was a conflict during which (an employee – SBU – editor’s note) died,” Kiva said.
He noted that operational investigative actions are ongoing; there is no information about the involvement of the attackers in any battalion.
Information about the involvement of the Dnepr-1 battalion in the incident on the air of the Ukrainian TV channel 112 was also denied by Yuriy Bereza.
As PolitNavigator reported, earlier the head of the Donetsk Main Directorate, Vyacheslav Abroskin, reported that an SBU officer was shot in Volnovakha.
