Kyiv, July 03 (Navigator, Vladimir Mikhailov) – The Aerosvita trade union picketed the Administration of the President of Ukraine demanding payment of arrears of wages.

Today, trade union organizations of Aerosvit Airlines CJSC held a protest rally under the building of the Administration of the President of Ukraine. The main reason for this action was the largest wage arrears in Ukraine, which currently amounts to more than 127 million hryvnia.
Employees of the artificially destroyed Aerosvit airline demand the personal intervention of the President and assistance in repaying the debt. In addition, the requirements include control over the payment by the owners of Aerosvit Airlines PJSC of debts on the Unified Social Contribution (USC) to the Pension Fund, as well as cleansing the State Aviation Service of Ukraine from corrupt officials and thieves.
Demanding an end to lawlessness and labor slavery in the civil aviation of Ukraine, the trade unions are counting on an objective investigation into the artificial bankruptcy of the Aerosvit airline and the creation of artificial wage arrears and unified social contributions, and bringing the perpetrators to criminal liability.
“The State Aviation Service of Ukraine must be cleared of corrupt officials and thieves, and judges who made unlawful decisions must be brought to criminal liability,” say the protesters.
