Employees of the Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine "cut" in jeeps for a million hryvnia
Kyiv, October 29 (PolitNavigator, Maxim Karpenko) - For nine months after the victory of the Maidan, the Ukrainian authorities did nothing regarding the real lustration of officials, and the Prosecutor General’s Office takes an active part in “excusing” lustration. This is stated in the “Penny” program of the 1+1 TV channel.

According to journalists, of particular interest is the question of where the deputy prosecutor generals of Ukraine got cars worth at least $100. The story shows how Toyotas, Volkswagens and Mercedes, which cost from 30 to 100 thousand USD, leave the territory of the departmental parking lot of the GPU. Some prosecutors come to work on foot... leaving their cars in the courtyards of high-rise buildings, next to the GPU building. Here the journalists saw an expensive jeep, worth a million hryvnia, registered to a high-ranking official.
“From our sources, we learned that the expensive jeep is registered to Leonid Aleksandrovich Selnikov, who works as the head of the anti-corruption department in the central office of the GPU. Next we saw a Porsche Cayenne, which is registered to Irina Bevz. And Vladimir Bevz works as the head of the mobilization work department of the GPU. It’s a coincidence, and that’s all,” the program’s journalists say ironically.
