A small group of Mejlis members and Ukrainians who fled from Crimea have been picketing the office of the “representative of the President of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea” in Kherson for the fourth day, accusing the institution of inaction and demanding the resignation of the head, Natalya Popovich.

IDPs claim that “Poroshenko’s representative office in Crimea” does nothing to help people seeking help, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

The officials, barricaded in the building, chose to refuse to communicate with the picketers, calling the police instead under the pretext of an attempted assault by “activists.”

In addition, employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations arrived on the scene after receiving a signal about a suspicious package at the entrance to the institution.
