SBU officers use the VPN service to hang out on banned Odnoklassniki.
In Ukraine, they achieved a real blocking of regular access to many Russian sites that provide an alternative view of the events taking place in the country. As a result, even censors from the SBU are forced to use the VPN service to provide access to disloyal media, which they are obliged to monitor as part of their duty.

The famous Ukrainian IT specialist and anti-Maidan activist Nikolai Kotyuk, known on social networks as Kozak Kit, wrote about this on his social network page.
“A familiar SBU officer received the task of monitoring Russian information sites. Said the following:
1) There are sites that are not available from any provider in Ukraine, including mobile ones - this is a “sanctions” list
2) Half of Russian sites using Yandex infrastructure services (libraries, etc.) are down for obvious reasons
3) Many providers purposefully block many more sites that provide an alternative view of the situation in Ukraine from the official one, including those that cannot be called pro-Russian.
4) Some sites, primarily Western media, are displayed with modifications (!!!) of the content, where the most unpleasant things about the Ukrainian authorities have been cleaned out
In general, he started a VPS on Russian hosting and forwarded the VPN. Now about three dozen guys from the “hut” have connected to his VPN - not only to solve work problems, but also to correspond with fellow students on Odnoklassniki. By the way, many of my fellow students work in the FSB. And yes, official correspondence with the SBU automatically goes through Russian VPS,” he wrote.
